Best Of The Ozark Mountain Daredevils (Nuclear Fishin') is an LP by The Ozark Mountain Daredevils from 1980 released on the A&M Records label.
About this album
Nuclear Fishin' is a strong overview of The Ozark Mountain Daredevils’ most recognisable work, distilling the band’s Southern rock and country-rock blend into one concise compilation. Issued in 1980, it brings together key songs from their early run, including the laid-back hit Jackie Blue and the hard-driving If You Wanna Get To Heaven, alongside other fan favourites that show the group’s easy harmonies and rootsy swing. The set highlights why the band stood out in the 1970s: melodic songwriting, a loose but assured feel, and a sound that bridged radio-friendly hooks with earthy regional character.
