    Nice is a sharp, ambitious late-1960s statement from The Nice, a group that helped define the British progressive rock template before Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Their take on Tim Hardin’s Hang On to a Dream and the extended Rondo ’69 show how The Nice could turn familiar songs into something far grander and more volatile.
