Credited to The League Unlimited Orchestra, the 1982 album strips back the originals and rebuilds them through dub, electro and synth-pop textures, highlighting the melodic strength behind songs such as Hard Times, Love Action (I Believe In Love) and Don't You Want Me. Rather than simply remixing pop hits, it helped show how post-punk and new wave could be reimagined for the dancefloor, making it an early and influential example of the album-length remix concept.
