Hard to believe: it's been 50 years since Jimi Hendrix released the legendary "Electric Ladyland". In 2018, the extended 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition will be released on three CDs plus Blu-ray or six LPs plus Blu-ray.
"Electric Ladyland" is the third studio album by the US guitarist, composer and singer and his band The Jimi Hendrix Experience. It was originally released on October 16, 1968 and remains one of the most important albums in rock history.For the reissue, the album has now been completely remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analogue tapes.In addition, "Electric Ladyland - 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition" features some "early takes": 20 previously unreleased demos and studio outtakes. Some of them are intimate demos for song ideas that Hendrix himself had recorded on tape at the Drake Hotel. Highlights also include early recording sessions with guest appearances by Buddy Miles, Stephen Stills and Al Kooper.Genre: Pop & Rock
