The Hollies – Another Night (E/VG+) – LP, AU 1975

Another Night is an LP by The Hollies from 1975 released on the EMI, Parlophone label.

About this album

Another Night finds The Hollies refining their pop-rock craft with smooth harmonies and a softer, more reflective edge. Issued in 1975, the album shows the veteran British group adapting to the changing mid-70s landscape without losing the melodic clarity that made them one of the era’s most dependable singles bands. The title song and a notable cover of Bruce Springsteen’s 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) sit alongside original material that balances gentle hooks, acoustic textures and polished ensemble singing. It is a later-period Hollies record that underlines their durability and knack for turning strong songwriting into elegant, radio-friendly rock.
