The Last Goon Show Of All is an LP by The Goons from 1974 released on the BBC Records label.
About this album
The Last Goon Show Of All is a landmark comedy radioplay from The Goons, preserving the absurdist energy that made the series a postwar British phenomenon. Issued in 1972, this LP presents the final Goon Show as a complete stage-style performance, complete with warm-up and full show structure, and distils the surreal wordplay, sound effects and rapid-fire nonsense that defined the troupe. With Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe at the centre of the chaos, it stands as both a comic swansong and a reminder of how influential the series was on later British radio and television comedy.
