10¢ A Dance is an LP by The Flirts from 1983 released on the "O" Records label.

About this album

10¢ A Dance is a sharp, high-energy slice of early-’80s synth-pop and disco from The Flirts. Released in 1982, it showcased the project’s sleek, nightclub-focused approach, built around punchy electronic rhythms, glossy hooks and an unmistakable dancefloor momentum. Led by producer Bobby Orlando’s streamlined pop sensibility, the album helped establish The Flirts as part of the era’s rising Hi-NRG and post-disco underground, where machine-driven beats met immediate, chorus-heavy songwriting. Songs such as Jukebox (Don’t Put Another Dime) and Boy Crazy capture the record’s playful, kinetic style and its lasting appeal as a cult club favourite.
