Toulouse Street is an LP by The Doobie Brothers from 1972 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.

About this album

Toulouse Street is the album that turned The Doobie Brothers from a promising California band into a major album act. Issued in 1972, it refined their blend of tight harmonies, acoustic shimmer and Southern rock momentum, while opening with the enduring hit Listen to the Music. The record also features Rockin’ Down the Highway and Jesus Is Just Alright, songs that helped define the group’s radio-friendly but musically grounded sound. Built on strong songwriting and warm, disciplined performances, Toulouse Street became one of the band's most important early statements and a key release in 1970s rock.
