The Babys – Anthology (VG+/VG+) – LP, US 1981

Anthology is an LP by The Babys from 1981 released on the Chrysalis label.

About this album

Anthology is a strong overview of The Babys’ polished pop rock, distilling the band’s brief but memorable run of late-1970s and early-1980s singles. Formed in London and later embraced in the American market, the group blended melodic hard rock with radio-ready hooks, and this compilation highlights the sound that made them a staple of rock and pop playlists. Songs such as Isn’t It Time, Every Time I Think Of You and Back On My Feet Again show their gift for concise, hook-driven songwriting and glossy harmony. As a snapshot of one of the era’s more underrated crossover bands, it works both as a primer and a best-of summary.
