About this album
Too Stuffed To Jump is a sharp, characterful country-rock album that shows The Amazing Rhythm Aces at their most assured. Released in 1976, it blends Southern warmth, sly humour and polished musicianship into songs that feel both relaxed and carefully built. The band’s biggest breakthrough came with The End Is Not In Sight (The Cowboy Tune), a crossover hit that helped define their appeal beyond the country field. Elsewhere, the album draws on ragged but controlled harmonies, steel-guitar colour and an easy groove, making it one of the group’s most distinctive statements and a strong example of 1970s roots-rock crossover.
