Strawberry Switchblade is an LP by Strawberry Switchblade from 1985 released on the Korova label.

About this album

Strawberry Switchblade is a striking synth-pop debut that turned fragile melody and sharp hooks into something instantly distinctive. Released in 1985, the album built on the Scottish duo’s earlier single “Since Yesterday” and paired sweet vocal harmonies with crisp electronic arrangements, giving their songs a bittersweet charm that stood apart from much mid-’80s pop. The record’s blend of innocence, unease and polished songwriting helped secure Strawberry Switchblade a lasting cult following, with its best-known songs remaining touchstones of the era’s more artful side of mainstream synth-pop.
