Stevie Wonder – Stevie Wonder's Original Musiquarium I (VG/VG+) – 2xLP, UK 1982

Stevie Wonder's Original Musiquarium I is an LP by Stevie Wonder from 1982 released on the Motown label.

About this album

The Original Musiquarium I is a superb Stevie Wonder compilation that distils his early- to mid-1980s and late-1970s peak into one essential set. Issued in 1982, it gathers signature songs such as Superstition, Sir Duke, Higher Ground, I Wish and Master Blaster (Jammin'), showing how Wonder fused soul, funk, disco and social commentary into some of the era’s most durable singles. More than a simple hits collection, it charts his extraordinary run as a writer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist at a time when few artists matched his melodic invention or cultural reach. For many listeners, it remains the ideal introduction to one of popular music’s great catalogues.
