Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel – Timeless Flight (E/VG+) – LP, AU 1976

Timeless Flight is an LP by Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel from 1976 released on the EMI label.

About this album

Timeless Flight is a vivid mid-’70s album from Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, mixing glam-rock attitude with pop instinct and a more varied, dramatic song cycle than their earlier hits suggested. Released in 1976, it carries the band’s theatrical edge into tougher and more reflective territory, with contrasts between biting rock energy and melodic, sometimes fragile writing. Coming after the success of singles such as Make Me Smile, the album shows Harley leaning into character, ambiguity and emotional tension rather than straightforward chart pop. It stands as an important snapshot of the band’s evolution at the height of their creative visibility.
