Trust In Me is an LP by Soul Flutes from 1974 released on the World Record Club label.
About this album
Trust In Me is a warm, elegant statement from Soul Flutes, pairing cool jazz lyricism with post-bop finesse. Issued in 1968, the album uses flute-led arrangements to give familiar material a lighter, more intimate touch, while still keeping the harmonic detail and rhythmic ease that reward close listening. Its mix of standards and interpreted repertoire, including songs like “Try a Little Tenderness” and the title track, helps it stand apart as a reflective late-1960s jazz session. The result is a concise album that shows how the flute could carry both melodic charm and understated sophistication in modern jazz.
