    About this album

World Power is the breakthrough album that made Snap! a Euro-house powerhouse. Released in 1990, it fused club-ready house beats with rap, rave and pop hooks, with "The Power" becoming an international crossover hit and defining the group’s signature sound. Built by German producers Benito Benites and John “Virgo” Garrett III, the album also delivered key singles such as "Ooops Up" and "Mary Had a Little Boy", helping bring late-1980s European dance music into the mainstream. Its punchy production and chart success made it one of the era’s most recognisable electronic albums.
