Small Faces – Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake (VG/VG) – LP, AU 1988

Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake is an LP by Small Faces from 1988 released on the Axis label.

About this album

Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake is Small Faces’ boldest and most inventive album, pushing their mod roots into psychedelic pop with a distinctly British sense of humour. Released in 1968, it combines punchy songs such as Lazy Sunday and Song Of A Baker with the whimsical concept of Happiness Stan, creating a record that feels both playful and ambitious. The album’s mix of music-hall wit, soulful melody and studio experimentation helped define late-’60s pop-rock experimentation, and it stands as one of the Small Faces’ most admired and influential statements.
