    About this album

Caught In The Act ... Live captures Sherbet at their peak as one of Australia’s most successful pop-rock bands. Released in 1977, the live album follows the group’s breakthrough run and presents their polished harmonies, driving guitars and crowd-ready choruses in a concert setting. By this stage Sherbet were riding high on the success of songs such as Howzat, and the album reflects the band’s knack for turning radio-friendly pop rock into a bigger, more immediate stage experience. It stands as a vivid snapshot of a group that helped define Australian mainstream rock in the 1970s.
