Scandal – Scandal (NM/VG+) – LP, AU 1978

Scandal is an LP by Scandal from 1978 released on the Mushroom label.

About this album

Scandal is a brash late-70s pop-rock statement, mixing sharp guitar work, theatrical flair and nimble melodic writing into a self-titled album with cult appeal. Issued in 1978, it sits at the crossroads of rock and pop, balancing punchy arrangements with a playful sense of drama that sets it apart from more straight-ahead contemporaries. The record’s varied song styles, from the propulsive Matador Song to the sly cover of She’s A Lady, give it a vivid, offbeat character. That blend of hooks, attitude and eccentricity has helped it endure as a sought-after snapshot of the era.
