Wings Of An Eagle And Other Great Hits is an LP by Russell Morris from 1989 released on the His Master's Voice label.
About this album
Wings Of An Eagle And Other Great Hits is a strong snapshot of Russell Morris at his early-1970s peak, when he helped define Australian pop-rock with a run of inventive, radio-ready singles. The compilation brings together key songs including The Real Thing, Rachel, Mr America and the title track, showing how Morris moved between psychedelic ambition, hook-heavy pop and tougher rock textures. By the time this set appeared in 1973, he had already become one of the country’s most recognisable voices, and these recordings underline why his work remained central to the local chart landscape. It is a compact summary of an important Australian hitmaker.
