Roger Waters – Radio K.A.O.S. (E/VG+) – LP, AU 1987

Radio K.A.O.S. is an LP by Roger Waters from 1987 released on the CBS label.

About this album

Radio K.A.O.S. is one of Roger Waters’ most distinctive solo statements, turning his post-Pink Floyd concerns into a sharp concept album about media, power and alienation. Released in 1987, it pairs synth-driven art rock and prog ambition with a radio-drama frame, following the story of a disabled Welsh teenager who can ‘hear’ the airwaves. Built around songs such as Radio Waves, The Powers That Be and The Tide Is Turning (After Live Aid), the album reflects Waters’ fascination with communication and control while also engaging directly with the politics of the 1980s. It remains an important part of his solo catalogue.
