Rod Stewart – Never A Dull Moment (VG+/VG+) – LP, AU 1972

Never A Dull Moment is an LP by Rod Stewart from 1972 released on the Mercury label.

About this album

Never a Dull Moment is a strong showcase of Rod Stewart’s early-1970s run, balancing raw rock and R&B grit with sharpened songcraft. Released in 1972, it followed the breakthrough success of Every Picture Tells a Story and confirmed Stewart as one of the era’s most distinctive voices, equally at home on originals and reworked standards. Built around his rasping vocal style and a loose, hard-edged band feel, the album moves from swagger to tenderness on songs such as You Wear It Well, Twistin’ the Night Away and I’d Rather Go Blind. It remains one of his most admired solo records and a key statement of his post-Faces ascent.
