Blondes Have More Fun is an LP by Rod Stewart from 1978 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.
About this album
Blondes Have More Fun is Rod Stewart’s glossy late-’70s crossover album, where his raspy rock voice met disco, pop and rock & roll with commercial punch. Released in 1978, it was led by the huge single ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’, one of Stewart’s biggest international hits and a defining marker of his shift towards a more dancefloor-ready sound. The album also includes ‘Ain’t Love a Bitch’ and ‘Standin’ in the Shadows of Love’, showing how he folded soul and pop instincts into a modern mainstream production. It became one of the era’s most talked-about pop-rock releases and a major chart success.
