Restorations is a taut, emotionally charged EP that shows the Philadelphia band sharpening punk urgency into something more melodic and precise. Released in 2011, it sits at the point where Restorations were building their reputation for tightly wound songs, muscular rhythms and an anthemic edge that connected indie rock and hardcore energy. The set’s blend of jagged guitars, propulsive drumming and singalong hooks helped define the band’s early identity and pointed towards the bigger, more expansive records that followed.
