  • Raspberries' Best - Featuring Eric Carmen is an LP by Raspberries from 1976 released on the Capitol Records label.

    About this album

Raspberries' Best is a compact showcase of the band’s fizzing power pop, centred on Eric Carmen’s knack for big hooks and emotional immediacy. Issued in 1976, it gathers the group’s defining singles and fan favourites from their brief but influential early-’70s run, including Go All The Way, I Wanna Be With You and Overnight Sensation (Hit Record). The set captures the Raspberries’ bright, Beatles-influenced blend of pop melody and hard-edged rock energy, a sound that helped shape the power pop template and kept the group’s reputation alive well beyond their original chart years.
