"His 'n' Hers" is Pulp's fourth studio album and the first to be released on a major label. It was originally released in 1994 and, together with the following album "Different Class", is one of the highlights of 90s 'Britpop'.
Its influences emanate from old glam and post-punk records - it was sensual yet intellectual, cheap yet sophisticated, retro yet modern - with each seeming paradox adding weight to the music: with Jarvis Cocker's wry commentary on life in Sheffield, where despair, sex and crime are always the order of the day, creating striking imagery with a fair amount of drama and an abundance of flair!
The album includes their first Top 40 hits in the UK - "Do You Remember the First Time?" and "Lipgloss". Remastered at Abbey Road Studios - overseen by Steve Mackey (Pulp bassist and producer).
The deluxe reissue for the 25th anniversary will be released as a 2LP (180g) in a high-quality gatefold with printed inner pockets.
