Parcels – Live Vol.2 (2xLP)

Parcels' Live Vol. 2 captures the Berlin-based band's second live album at a secret October 2022 show in Le Palace, Paris, a room chosen to suit the set's club-driven energy. Following 2020's Live Vol. 1, this one takes a clearly different angle: Parcels reshape their songs for the dancefloor, leaning into the pulse of the electronic scene that has surrounded them since their move from Byron Bay to Berlin.

What makes this set especially appealing is how deliberately it rethinks the band's catalogue. Sources describe the album as a new artistic proposal, with the full hour-plus performance stretching familiar material into a more propulsive live form. Songs such as "Reflex," "Lightenup," and "Gamesofluck" sit inside a continuous-feeling club set rather than a straightforward indie-pop concert, and the venue itself helps frame that shift.

The 12-track performance also doubles as a document of transition for Parcels, premiering five then-new songs live: "Entrance," "React," "Ascend," "Recast," and "Transcend." On vinyl, that complete Le Palace show is spread across 2xLP, making Live Vol. 2 a strong snapshot of a band using the live album format not just to recap a tour, but to test where its music could go next.
