  • Heartless is an LP by Pallbearer from 2017 released on the Profound Lore Records label.

    About this album

Heartless refines Pallbearer's doom metal into something more expansive and emotionally direct. Released in 2017, the album builds on the Arkansas band's reputation for slow, towering heaviness while pushing further into melody, atmosphere and dynamic contrast. The title track and songs such as I Saw The End and A Plea For Understanding show how Pallbearer balance crushing riffs with plaintive vocal lines and carefully shaped arrangements. Arriving after their breakthrough debut and follow-up, Heartless confirmed the band as one of modern doom metal's most accomplished voices, earning strong critical praise for its ambition and emotional reach.
