Bark At The Moon is one of Ozzy Osbourne’s most defining solo albums, combining theatrical heavy metal with a leaner, sharper sound. Released in 1983, it marked his return after the death of Randy Rhoads and introduced guitar virtuoso Jake E. Lee, whose riffing and solos helped give the record its harder edge. The title track became a signature Osbourne anthem, while songs such as “Rock ’N’ Roll Rebel” and “So Tired” show his range beyond shock-rock spectacle. The album strengthened Osbourne’s standing as a solo force and became a key release in 1980s metal.
