OFF! is a ferocious hardcore punk debut that revives the speed, bite and stripped-down fury of the genre without sounding like a nostalgia exercise. Formed around former Black Flag and Circle Jerks frontman Keith Morris, the band channelled decades of punk experience into something immediate and unforgiving. Released in 2012, the album was produced by Dimitri Coats and features tight, blast-furnace songs that hit hard and stop before any excess can blunt the impact. Widely praised for its raw energy and economy, it confirmed OFF! as one of the most vital late-era punk bands.
