Neil Diamond – Heartlight (VG+/VG+) – LP, AU 1982

Heartlight is an LP by Neil Diamond from 1982 released on the CBS label.

About this album

Heartlight shows Neil Diamond refining his polished soft-rock and pop instincts in the early 1980s. Released in 1982, the album leans into warm melodies, glossy production and Diamond’s unmistakable baritone, balancing radio-ready hooks with the sentimental directness that made him one of pop’s most durable songwriters. The title track became the set’s best-known song and helped define its commercial appeal, while the rest of the record keeps faith with his knack for turning personal feeling into broad, singalong choruses. It stands as a confident late-period statement from an artist who remained a major chart presence across eras.
