Nazareth – Hair Of The Dog (VG/VG+) – LP, AU 1975

Hair Of The Dog is an LP by Nazareth from 1975 released on the Vertigo label.

About this album

Hair Of The Dog is Nazareth’s hard-rock peak, a brash 1975 album that cemented the Scottish band’s reputation beyond the UK. Built around the snarling title track, it pairs blues-rooted grit with sharper hard-rock hooks, giving the record both muscle and memorability. Produced by Manny Charlton, the album includes the enduring fan favourite “Hair Of The Dog” and the dramatic “Please Don’t Judas Me”, showing a band balancing swagger, melody and heaviness in equal measure. Its commercial success and long afterlife made it one of Nazareth’s best-known releases and a key album in 1970s hard rock.
