"FATHERS" is an extraordinary new collective featuring producer Kenny Beats, keyboardist Kiefer, bassist CARRTOONS, and drummer Nate Smith. On their Blue Note debut, they blend the openness of jazz with hip-hop, funk, soul, and electronic influences to create a sound that is as virtuosic as it is accessible. Born out of a collaboration at the 2023 Montreal Jazz Festival and further developed during joint tours through the U.S. and Japan, “FATHERS” thrives on the creative chemistry of its members.
