Miles Davis At Fillmore is an LP by Miles Davis from 1970 released on the CBS label.

About this album

Miles Davis at Fillmore is a gripping document of the trumpeter’s electric period, capturing his band in four late-night sets at New York’s Fillmore East in 1970. Built around extended, free-flowing improvisations, the album shows Davis pushing jazz into harder, more volatile territory, where rock volume, studio electronics and open-ended group interplay collide. The four sides correspond to the four performances, each named for the night it was recorded, and together they mark a crucial stage in the move from post-bop to fusion. For listeners tracing Davis’s transformation, it stands as one of the most important live releases of his career.
