Matt Bianco is an LP by Matt Bianco from 1986 released on the WEA label.

About this album

Matt Bianco is a sleek, Latin-tinged pop-soul statement that helped define the band’s distinctive crossover appeal. Released in 1986, the album blends dance-pop polish with jazzier, cosmopolitan rhythms, giving the group a sound that was both radio-friendly and musically nimble. It followed the success of their debut era and reinforced Matt Bianco’s reputation for elegant hooks, glossy production and a cool, urbane image. With standouts such as Yeh Yeh and Dancing in the Street reworked through the band’s refined style, the album sits neatly within the mid-1980s pop landscape, where sophistication and groove could go hand in hand.
