About this album
One More From The Road is a ferocious live document of Lynyrd Skynyrd at full power, and one of the key records in Southern rock. Captured across 1976 performances and released the same year, it bottles the band's hard-driving guitars, boogie rhythms and swaggering vocal interplay in front of a huge crowd response. The album helped turn songs like Sweet Home Alabama, Saturday Night Special and Free Bird into definitive live anthems, while also showing how the group could stretch blues, country and hard rock into a single, crowd-raising force. It remains a landmark concert album from one of the genre's defining bands.
