Little Feat – Time Loves A Hero (E/VG+) – LP, JP 1977, No OBI

Time Loves A Hero is an LP by Little Feat from 1977 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.

About this album

Time Loves a Hero finds Little Feat stretching their Southern rock roots into jazz-funk and fusion without losing the band’s loose, earthy feel. Released in 1977, it was their first studio album after the death of guitarist and founder Lowell George became a defining moment in the group’s story, with George still steering much of the songwriting and production. The record balances sly humour, crisp ensemble interplay and rhythmic sophistication on songs such as Rocket in My Pocket and the title track. It stands as one of Little Feat’s most accomplished late-’70s statements, showing how far their blend of roots music and improvisation could travel.
