The Greatest Hits is an LP by Lime from 1985 released on the Mercury label.

About this album

The Greatest Hits is a tightly focused showcase of Lime’s glossy Hi-NRG dance-pop, gathering the duo’s most effective club material from the mid-1980s. Built around driving electronic rhythms, punchy basslines and the paired vocals of Denyse LePage and Denys Boudreau, the compilation highlights the polished, high-energy style that helped Lime cross between disco’s aftermath and the emerging synth-pop era. Songs such as Angel Eyes, Your Love and Babe, We’re Gonna Love Tonight capture the group at their most immediate and radio-friendly. As a snapshot of 1985 dance-floor pop, it underlines Lime’s place in the Canadian electronic scene and the wider Hi-NRG movement.
