  • "Presence" was recorded during a stormy 18-day studio session at Munich's Musicland Studios. The triple platinum album - No. 1 on the charts in the US and UK - crackles with energetic classics like "Nobody's Fault But Mine" or "Achilles Last Stand" and shows Led Zeppelin at the height of their art.

    For connoisseurs, "Presence", originally released in 1976, is one of the great milestones in Led Zeppelin's oeuvre. There has been intense debate about the cover artwork and the strange black object in the center of the image. The pain Robert Plant suffered from seems to be reflected in his song lyrics. The band's arrangement is also special: neither acoustic guitars nor keyboards are heard on the seven tracks. "Achilles Last Stand" is also considered the first exploration of emerging heavy metal.
