    About this album

    Creatures Of The Night is one of Kiss’s hardest, heaviest albums, and a sharp reset after the commercial drift of the late 1970s. Released in 1982, it pushed the band towards a tougher heavy metal sound while keeping the big hooks that made them arena giants. The title track, I Love It Loud and War Machine became key statements of intent, backed by muscular riffs and a darker tone that marked a new phase for the group. Though it arrived during a period of commercial uncertainty, the album has since become widely regarded as one of Kiss’s strongest and most influential 1980s releases.
