    About this album

Quarters! is a distinctive EP that shows King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard stretching their psychedelic rock far beyond standard garage shorthand. Built around four extended pieces, each exactly 10 minutes and 10 seconds long, it turns repetition and improvisation into a tight conceptual frame. The Australian band’s lo-fi edge and jazz-rock instinct give the record a restless, fluid feel, with standout moments like ‘The River’ helping it become one of their most admired early releases. Issued in 2015, it reinforced the group’s reputation for fearless experimentation and endless stylistic movement.
