Sketches Of Brunswick East is an LP by King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Mild High Club from 2017 released on the ATO Records label.

About this album

Sketches Of Brunswick East is a playful, exploratory collaboration that finds King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Mild High Club stretching psychedelic rock into jazzier, more fluid territory. Released in 2017, the album pairs King Gizzard’s restless invention with Mild High Club’s breezy West Coast sensibility, resulting in a record that feels both loose and carefully constructed. Its modular suite-like flow, pastoral melodies and rhythmic detours give the album a distinctive place in both bands’ catalogues, while songs such as “Countdown”, “Tezeta” and “Dusk To Dawn On Lygon Street” show how confidently it balances spontaneity with melodic charm.
