About this album
I'm In Your Mind Fuzz is the breakneck EP that helped define King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s early identity. Released in 2014, it condenses the band’s noisy psychedelic garage attack into a tightly wound burst of riffs, feedback and hypnotic repetition. The opening suite, beginning with “I’m In Your Mind”, sets up the group’s fragmented, propulsive style before the record eases into shorter, swaggering cuts that still feel restless and volatile. As an early statement from one of the most prolific modern rock bands, it helped lay the groundwork for the more expansive sound they would develop soon after.
