Nightwatch is an LP by Kenny Loggins from 1978 released on the CBS label.

About this album

Nightwatch is Kenny Loggins’ polished pop-rock breakthrough, balancing sleek hooks with a more assured solo identity. Released in 1978, the album helped establish Loggins as a major artist in his own right after his work with Loggins and Messina, while also pointing towards the soft-rock sound that would define late-70s radio. Its best-known songs, “Whenever I Call You ‘Friend’” and the early version of “What a Fool Believes,” showcase his gift for melodic precision and easy emotional appeal. The record became one of the key stepping stones in a career that would soon reach even greater commercial heights.
