Restless Nights is an LP by Karla Bonoff from 1979 released on the CBS label.

About this album

Restless Nights is a graceful, finely written soft rock album that confirmed Karla Bonoff as one of the era’s most persuasive songwriters. Released in 1979, it builds on the intimate style that had already made her songs favourites for other artists, while giving her own performances a warmer, more assured edge. The album balances reflective ballads with brighter pop-rock phrasing, and Bonoff’s clear, unfussy delivery keeps the focus on melody and emotional detail. Best known for Trouble Again, it remains a strong example of late-1970s singer-songwriter craft, with the polish of the period matched by real feeling and restraint.
