The album "Boo" by singer/songwriter Juliet Lawson was released in 1972 in the United Kingdom on the Sovereign label. The album was the self-confident debut of a young British artist and contained twelve original compositions by Lawson. In the same wave of English singer-songwriters of the early 1970s as Nick Drake, Vashti Bunyan and Christine McVie, and although she was described at the time as "Britain's answer to Joni Mitchell", "Boo" was to be her only release on a major label with limited commercial success. Over the next 50 years, the album's reputation slowly grew and it is now an expensive collector's item.
"Boo" is presented here in its entirety. The first pressing of the vinyl edition of the album also includes a bonus 7" single with two early demo tracks.
