Get A Whiff A This is an LP by Juicy Lucy from 1972 released on the Bronze label.

About this album

Get A Whiff A This shows Juicy Lucy leaning into a tough, rootsy blues-rock sound with a country-rock edge. Issued in 1971, the album follows the band’s best-known period and reflects the early-’70s British hard-rock scene’s appetite for American songs reshaped with heavier guitars and looser, bar-room swing. Juicy Lucy’s approach gives familiar material a gritty, muscular feel rather than polished studio gloss, helping the record stand out as a straightforward but effective example of the era’s genre-blending rock. For listeners drawn to muscular guitar bands with a Southern accent, it remains one of the group’s most characterful releases.
