The Best Of Jon And Vangelis is a concise showcase of the duo’s blend of lush synthesisers, pop melody and progressive sweep. Drawn from their early-1980s recordings, it highlights the distinctive partnership between Yes singer Jon Anderson and Vangelis, whose electronic textures and cinematic arrangements gave their work a striking identity. The compilation gathers key pieces such as I’ll Find My Way Home, State Of Independence and The Friends Of Mr. Cairo, underlining how Jon & Vangelis bridged art-rock ambition with accessible hooks.
