Truth/Beck-ola is an LP by Jeff Beck from 1975 released on the Epic label.
About this album
Truth/Beck-Ola brings together Jeff Beck’s early blues-rock peak, pairing material from Truth and Beck-Ola into a compact portrait of his power as a guitarist. By the mid-1970s this compilation helped underline why Beck was so influential: he could move from muscular R&B and heavy blues readings to daring instrumentals with rare control and imagination. With standout cuts such as “Shapes of Things”, “Beck’s Bolero” and “You Shook Me”, it captures the shift from Yardbirds-era experimentation to the harder, heavier sound that helped shape British rock guitar in the late 1960s.
