Truth is an LP by Jeff Beck from 1968 released on the Epic label.

About this album

Truth is a ferocious blues-rock milestone from Jeff Beck, and one of the heaviest statements to emerge from the late-1960s British guitar scene. Issued in 1968, it paired Beck with Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Nicky Hopkins and Micky Waller, giving the music a raw, volatile edge that pushed beyond the Yardbirds’ framework. Its versions of songs such as Shapes of Things, You Shook Me and Morning Dew helped define the hard blues sound that fed both hard rock and early heavy metal, while Beck’s Bolero became an enduring showcase for his inventive, highly expressive playing. Widely regarded as a landmark debut, it established Beck as a force in his own right.
