Let's continue with the Ipecac ISIS reissues: "Wavering Radiant" is the band's last album from 2009, remastered by James Plotkin. The 2LP 140gr vinyl comes in a tip-on gatefold sleeve.
The album was produced by Joe Barresi, and the band broke up less than a year after its release. The album continues Isis' tradition of writing long songs, but departs a bit from the soft-loud dynamics and post-metal aesthetic that characterized previous releases. It is widely regarded as the band's most accessible album.
Although the band has been defunct for over a decade, their influence on metal is still felt, and sales figures continue to make them one of Ipecac's top artists.
